The Education Group, Germany’s leading training and education expert in the mobility sector, continues its strong growth trajectory with three additional strategic partnerships. Through the acquisitions of driving school companies Dexheimer and Kessler, along with its investment in the innovative start-up Eduvation IT-Services, the Education Group reinforces its market position and accelerates its expansion strategy.
Strengthening Regional Presence
With the integration of Dexheimer driving school, the Education Group extends its footprint in the Heilbronn area. Dexheimer complements the existing network with five locations, and strengthens the Education Group's leading market position in this region. Founded in 2010 by Alexander Dexheimer, the company offers training in all driver’s license classes. Mr. Dexheimer will remain as managing director and will further drive the development of the location within the Education Group.
Through the acquisition of driving school Kessler, the Education Group enters the important Ruhr area market. Founded in 1973 and led in the third generation by Malte Kessler and Julian Ihnen, Kessler driving school, with seven locations, is the leading brand in the Ruhr area, Germany’s largest metropolitan region. Like Dexheimer, Kessler offers training for all driving license classes. Mr. Kessler and Mr. Ihnen will stay on board and continue the expansion in the Ruhr area under the Education Group umbrella.
Investing in Eduvation IT-Services to drive digitalization in the driving school market
In addition, the Education Group has acquired a stake in Eduvation IT-Services, an innovative company developing digital solutions for the driving school industry. Together with the Education Group, Eduvation plans to accelerate the rollout of its products and further drive the digital transformation of the driving school market. Eduvation IT-Services will be led by Mr. Kessler, Mr. Ihnen, and Mr. Tom Sperling.

Outlook on future growth
In addition to expanding its presence in the driving school market, the Education Group plans further strategic investments. The focus is on expanding driving instructor training under the DVPI brand, as well as further growing the ACADEMY franchise portfolio. The Education Group aims to expand its market leadership in the mobility sector and promote the training of the next generation of drivers through innovative, high-quality solutions.
