About eismann
At the time of disposal, eismann was a leading company in the home delivery of frozen food in Europe. The company supplied around 2.3 million customers with a range of approximately 600 frozen food products. In addition to Germany, eismann was also active in Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria and Benelux.
The strategy
After the spin-off from Nestlé, the new management team was able to implement the necessary structural measures quickly to establish a stand-alone company. With new entrepreneurial spirit, the positioning of eismann was strengthened and its profitability improved. With a clear growth strategy, the company was sold as part of a secondary buyout to management and Intermediate Capital Group in 2007.
